ONE TREE FOR EVERY VOICE

To honour the Voices, we have signed up with Treeapp to pay to plant one tree for every Voice, every artist, every charity spotlight and every fundraising event attended. As we travel the country to complete the campaign we not only want to ensure we are environmentally conscious, but also honour every person’s contribution in meaningful way.

88 TREES PLANTED AND COUNTING

Farewell to a fiercely strong and beautiful friend…

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news that the beautiful, purest soul that is Anjlee has found her wings. Anjlee was one of our Voices and had become a very dear friend to nearly every woman she met on her journey with us. Her pure soul and twinkling smile touched everyone who met her. Shortly after filming with us her breast cancer progressed. Ive been keeping in close contact with her and her family through this heartbreaking time and the strength, love and humility with which they stuck together has been truly inspiring. Anjlee showed strength, a smile and love until the very end. Her approach to life will forever stick with me - that her living list was not of material things, travelling to exotic places… but seeing a sunrise from the side of a mountain here in the UK. The little things - making memories with her boys. Anjlee was a beautiful wonderful human being who inspired so so many women.

We plan to do something in her honour and will work with the family to create something worthy. Everything we are doing here is to raise awareness of the fact that young people are facing their mortality at a young age. There will never be enough education, awareness and support to help people get an earlier diagnosis, feel empowered with decisions about their own health, and have dignity in their disease journey. Prevention is not just about avoiding disease in itself- but preventing adverse outcomes of disease.

So many people are facing their mortality at a young age - and capturing how these people make every moment count for what is important and find strength to still find joy in each and every one is invaluable. We are very grateful to have been able to capture the absolute beautiful soul in Anjlee.

There will not be a sunrise again that will not make me smile and my heart be grateful for having gotten to know the beauty that Anjlee shared.

Our love, thoughts and prayers to her boys, her family and friends.

Liz, Sammy, and the Trustees & Ambassadors at MAS Xx

We have created a space for people to leave messages and donations that will go directly to the Anjlee’s boys and family.
